ALTAR FLOWERS - This week’s altar flowers are graciously provided by Rebecca Alcorn in the memory of her husband on his birthday. We gratefully thank Rebecca for this thoughtful and meaningful offering.
GRADUATION SUNDAY -MAY 17 - We are excited to celebrate all graduates—Pre-K, high school, college, and graduate school—on May 17, Grad Sunday! Bring a framed photo of your graduate to be part of the celebration, and send a short bio to office@sojoyfc.org to feature them in our upcoming newsletter. Let’s honor and celebrate this special milestone together!
LEMAY ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE (APRIL 21–24) - Please be advised that Lemay will be closed from Whalers Way/Wheaton Drive to Harmony Road from April 21–24 due to utility work. The church will remain accessible via Harmony Road, though parking may be required across the street with a short walk to the building. This closure will not affect Sunday service. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
SUBMIT A PRAYER REQUEST - Share your prayer needs, joys, or concerns with our Prayer Team using our secure online form: Echo Prayer. Requests are received with care and prayed over faithfully. Prayer request cards are also available on the prayer table in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER FOR SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP TIME. Would you like to bring in treats for our Spirit of Joy community and help serve our congregation? Sign up to help with Sunday fellowship time here. Fellowship volunteers bring treats for serving after our 9:30am Sunday worship service. They prepare coffee and set out the coffee and tea service, and serve and refresh coffee and treats after the service. Finally, they clean up the kitchen at the end of fellowship time. Thank you so much for volunteering for this ministry!

You are now able to access the latest Spirit of Joy information, our online directory, and your own giving records all from your phone through our new Spirit of Joy app found here. If you need instructions for help with the app, click here.
OFFICE HOURS. The Spirit of Joy office will be open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Office Administrator will be available remotely from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and may be reached at office@sojoyfc.org. The office will be closed Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
